udein is a team of founding partners preparing to start a company. Our workspace at app.udein.com is private: only partners we invite can sign in. This page explains what it keeps and why. Questions: udeinconnect@gmail.com.
What we collect
- From Google sign-in: your name, email address and profile picture. We use them only to know who you are and to check that you are an invited partner.
- What you tell the workspace assistant: your messages, and the ideas, todos, progress and daily reports created from them. These are the company's shared record and every partner can see them.
- Basic server logs (page addresses and times) to keep the service running and secure.
How the AI assistant uses your data
To answer, the assistant sends your messages and the relevant workspace records to OpenAI. We have allowed OpenAI to use this content to improve its models. We do not send partners' email addresses to OpenAI.
Google services you choose to connect
If you later choose to connect Google Calendar or Google Drive, we use them only to schedule company meetings with their agendas and to import the meeting notes of those meetings. udein's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What we never do
- We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
- We do not share it with anyone except OpenAI and Google, as described above.
Storage and removal
Data is stored on our own server, with daily backups kept for 14 days. The company record is append-only, so entries stay even if a partner leaves. To have your sign-in details removed, write to udeinconnect@gmail.com.
